> The Ferrari 150° Italia introduces the KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System), a system, which, instead of losing kinetic energy in the form of heat during braking, enables a partial recovery, improving the available max. power outlet by around 80 bhp regarding the max. revs per minute. The system can be activated via a button on the steering wheel for a total of around 6 seconds per lap.
>
> DRS stands for Drag Reduction System: one of the rear wing's deflectors is adjustable and when the system is activated by the driver the deflector opens to reduce aerodynamic drag, favouring higher top speeds: the system can be deactivated by the driver with the same button and automatically closes during braking, to avoid critical grip situations in corners, in case the driver forgets to deactivate the system.
>
> These two systems have been reproduced for the Ferrari Virtual Academy and their use is highlighted by the display on the screen, indicating the activation of the DRS and the remaining charging level of the KERS, which will automatically be restored every time the car crosses the finishing line.
>
> To simulate the new Pirelli tyres' behaviour the respective data as well as the precious feedback from the drivers has been taken into consideration. The difference between the so called force feedback and the reactions of the single-seater compared to the F10 can be felt immediately, underlined by the fact that the F1 single-seater could be chosen blindfolded, understanding immediately, only by the driving sensation the car procures, which car is driven.
