The drivers

The FVA not only took extra care in the realization of the F10, but it also put a lot of attention into replicating the drivers.

The same care has been spent on the reproduction of the Ferrari drivers, scrupulous in taking care of their equipment's details. The virtual alter egos of Felipe Massa and Fernando Alonso have been planned down to the smallest detail: helmet, gloves, safety belts and driving position precisely replicate reality. Massa's and Alonso's original helmets', overalls' and gloves' models were scanned and reproduced to ensure that the driver has the feeling to be inside the single-seater at any time during driving and the replay.

The helmet's livery is the main element, distinguishing one driver from his teammate: the colours displayed by the drivers usually are the colours of their home country. Felipe and Fernando are no exception to this rule: based on scanning the helmet and a photographic analysis the virtual alter ego is planned by reproducing every single detail, from the aerodynamic shape, the visor, to the padding and the drivers' contours.

We can also see how the red strip is mirrored, unlike real life. The 2011 drivers helmet is the exact same as the 2010 helmet except the top part is removed so the helmet is flat

As for the 2011 glove texture, it doesn't seem like it's completely scanned like for the 2010 glove but instead, the color changed and they added the Scuderia logo

Surprisingly enough, Fisichiella, also has his helmet on the game, but only for the F458 challenge.

Since Fisichella was only intended for the F458, and his helmet can't really be seen, his livery is a lower resolution than Massa and Alonso livery, and he doesn't have his own face but instead his 3D driver model contains both Alonso and Massa face !
